Siano is the first company, and is still to date the only company to offer a mature Multi-Standard Mobile Digital TV (Mobile DTV) receiver chips. Our highly integrated all-CMOS Mobile DTV Receiver chip families support multi-band, multi-standard and common interfaces. This enables ODM and OEM mobile device manufacturers to significantly lower their design costs and development risks compared with other MDTV technology solutions in the market while not compromising on reception performance and sensitivity.
Special emphasis was given to mobility performance and low power consumption – Siano's products guarantee full enjoyment and best coverage of mobile TV signals as the consumer travels at high speeds.

Complete Solutions
Siano’s integrated tuner and demodulator receiver chips are complemented by a Host-API software package that includes drivers and libraries for popular host processors and operating systems.
The input to Siano’s MDTV receiver chips is the broadcasted RF signal received by the antenna. The output is a demodulated, selected (one or multiple) channel stream. This data is fed into an application processor that is capable of video and audio decompression.
Moreover, Siano offers complementary certified Microsoft and Linux middleware OS drivers for all the company’s products, MBBMS software stack for CMMB, and players for CMMB and ISDB-T, providing complete Mobile DTV solutions. Thus Siano’s system-oriented design approach allows rapid integration of Mobile DTV functionality to mobile and handheld terminals with minimal R&D efforts and at a reduced system cost while enabling fast-time-to-market.
